Summary

As his car breaks in a small French city, private detective Chanfier discovers a town in prey to mysterious killings of young women. Getting to know the main characters of the city, he sets to unveil an implacable but absurd mechanism that links the killings to the weekly rabbit dish offered on the menu by the best restaurant in town.
