Summary

Set in Paris and New York, BEDBUG tells the story of Rose, a precociously talented 29-year-old biological researcher of insects. She lives with her mother and grandmother, three generations of Parisian women under one roof, who have a well-guarded dark secret. Rose’s success at work is at odds with her unsuccessful private life, but when she meets Leo, her new lab partner, fresh romantic opportunities seem to present themselves. As our millenial heroine Rose finds out, when it comes to l'amour, the uncanny and anthropomorphic sexual behaviour of insects is a stunning metaphor for modern day relationships.
