Karine Lebert is a French writer. She was a biographer for fifteen years and then a journalist at Paris Normandie. Her many novels include LES SORTILÈGES DE TREMBLAY (2013), and CE QUE FANNY VEUT... (2015).

Summary

Isaure is an unstable woman, who had cut ties with her family around twenty years before the beginning of the novel. When the novel opens, Isaure is back and track down her twin sister Lucille she has always been jealous of; Isaure was acclaimed for her talent as a painter, but Lucille was the one having more success with men.

The gap between them has persisted in the adult age. Soon while observing Lucille, Isaure realizes that she has died in the lake she was riding around on her motorbike. Instead of going to the police or inquiring, Isaure decides to steal her twin sister’s identity and live her life in her place...
