Summary

When illness strikes, life becomes more intense.

It started gradually and now, Dad is downstairs. With little hope of things improving. The reason Dad can no longer walk up the stairs of our house, is Tartiflette, his illness. It’s not its real name of course but that’s what we decided to call it because we’re foodies in our family! Our entire daily life is now reorganised around him, as his state deteriorates. Tears interspersed with laughter, I still want to enjoy the fact that we are all still together: our cat, Mum, me and most of all Dad.
